Wrapping up!

Sorry for not posting more!!! I forgot how spotty reception is. Fear not I have so many pictures :)

I encourage you to ask your kids to narrate the trip. I know for me here are somethings I know I'll be talking about a lot:

Banana boating, so many stories. So many laughs
Our sonshine staff (driver and Barney) who were so amazing!!
All the friendship bracelets!!
All the skits (woot!! Creekside took the win!! Go girls boat!)
Affirmations and Fudgey Loving!!
Mud masks and boat jumps
Sharing time and small group times
Worship (including all the impromptu ones, thanks Isaac)
Testimonies (I so love how different all our stories but how clearly God is shown)
Greg (and Connor's) sessions on Psalms 139
3 hour quiet time


Guys from a leader perspective I am so humbled by and grateful for our group. I'm walking away with so many memories of these kids serving each other, seeking God, being so fun and silly and just enjoying our time together. It's such a privilege to know your kids and be able to love them. Thank you for sharing them with us for the week.

New beginnings

Hi parents!! We are all officially here and safe! Thank Jesus for that!  Already I'm super humbled and grateful by how the trip is coming. Even in the heat and craziness of first days we have students starting conversations and creating new jokes and friendships. So grateful for the oppportunity for community that houseboats affords us.  Worship tonight was great. Talking about how God will always be with you (Psalms 139:1-12) . Emma shared a beautiful testimony of how God has pursued her and stood alongside her amidst trials and sicknes and anger.  Looking forward to tomorrow I know I am praying that more conversations happen. Small groups will happen in the morning after breakfast before ski runs. For sure prayers that us leaders can be vulnerable with your kids and create a safe place to talk about life and God, that God gives us the words to speak to bring them to see God in a new way.  Thanks for all of the parents who drove, that's such an amazin...
